This is my sort of mixed caricature and tribute to one of the greatest rock singers and performers of all time, Freddie Mercury from Queen. This November it will be 15 years since he passed away.
I used to like Queen a lot but somehow - I really don't know why - I "lost" Queen for years and years. This summer I found them again and remembered what an extraordinary innovative band this was. Beside many pure rock songs they also had a huge variation of styles from surrealism to almost opera. Do we still hear new rock music that sounds as good and innovative as Queen sounded? The answer is: no. --------------------- Ink, watercolours, just a little hint of pencils. |
